    Successfully Passed IATA ISAGO Recertification
ISAGO (IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operation) is the highest standard for aviation ground handling safety. In 2009, we formed a cross-departmental team for ISAGO certification, applying in 2010 and passing the audit in 2011. In 2012, we became the first ground handling company in Taiwan to achieve ISAGO certification. Recertifications were successfully completed in 2013, 2015, and 2017, with the latest conducted by Aviation Quality Services GmbH, affirming our commitment to the highest safety standards.

    Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions

Following global net-zero emission trends and China Airlines Group's environmental policy, we began company-wide greenhouse gas inventory in 2022, covering both Taoyuan and Taitung stations. In 2024, we obtained our first ISO 14064-1:2018 greenhouse gas verification statement (certified by Taiwan Product Testing and Certification Center) and continue annual inventory and verification processes.

We also continuously develop greenhouse gas reduction strategies for our operations, including green procurement, equipment electrification, and energy resource reduction measures, with the following results:

Continuing Green Procurement:In response to government policies and our environmental awareness, we consistently engage in green procurement and report results to local environmental protection bureaus semi-annually. In 2020, our green procurement exceeded NT$100 million, earning us recognition as an 'Outstanding Green Procurement Unit for Private Enterprises and Organizations', and we were honored at the '2021 Taoyuan Green Life Shopping Festival Closing Ceremony and Green Consumption Awards'.

Promoting Equipment Electrification:Aligning with global environmental trends and enhancing ground handling service quality, we're creating a pollution-free, healthy work environment. Recognizing the irreversible impact of global warming, we're fulfilling our corporate social responsibility by replacing diesel tractors with electric ones for passenger luggage transport, reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Since 2020, we've invested approximately NT$128 million to purchase 80 electric luggage tractors, reducing ground vehicle emissions by about 10.19%.

Establishing Energy Resource Reduction Measures:To improve energy and resource efficiency in our operations, prevent waste, and achieve carbon reduction goals, we implemented energy resource reduction measures in 2022. Our Environmental Management Committee discusses these measures, selects energy conservation items, and sets annual reduction targets. Using KPI management, we encourage all departments to implement reduction measures and follow the PDCA model with monthly tracking, analysis, and timely adjustments to meet annual targets.
