In line with national policies of overall development of civil aviation and the opening of Taoyuan International Airport(TPE, formerly known as Chiang Kai-Shek International Airport), Ministry of Transportation & Communications and China Airlines organized the Preparatory Committee for the establishment of Taoyuan International Airport Services (TIAS Co. Ltd.)

May Established the preparation office.
November 8 Officially registered as "Taoyuan Airport Services Co., Ltd."

February 26th. TIAS began ground service operation at Taoyuan International Airport (TPE).

July 31th. The name of the company was changed to Taoyuan International Airport Services Co., Ltd.

July Applied to join the Ground Handling Council of the International Air Transport Association (IATA).

August 1st. Set up Data Processing Center to launch comprehensive computerized operation and development on operation system.

January The Equipment Maintenance Department completed registration as a ground handling equipment maintenance factory.
October Implemented Corporate Identity System (CIS) and changed the company logo.

April 2nd. TIAS Training Center was founded to provide comprehensive management of training planning and implementation.

March 25th. TIAS acquired ISO-9002 accreditation certification under the inspection of British Standards Institution (BSI).
December 30th. To balance the organization faculties, the Auditor Office had been set up for auditing the service quality and the financial items.

April 20 Invested in Taiwan Hualin Industrial Co., Ltd. for aviation pallet and container design, production, and sales.
September Invested in Hwa-Hsin Co., Ltd. in line with the parent company's overall strategy.
September 2011 Disposed of Taiwan Hualin Company shares, ending the investment.

Established the Taitung Special Operations Group to handle ground services for Far Eastern, TransAsia, and Mandarin Airlines at Taitung Fengnian Airport.
Aviation container and pallet maintenance factory passed Civil Aeronautics Administration certification.

May 23 Established the subsidiary Taoyou Co., Ltd.
March 2012 Completed liquidation of Taoyou company, ending operations.

June 3rd. Our ISO accreditation had been successfully transferred to ISO 9001:2000.

August 16 United Airlines Taipei Station received recognition as the world's best in cabin cleaning for the second quarter of the year, specially expressing sincere gratitude to our company.

January 25th. TIAS completed Aviation Security Plan and Aviation Security Quality Control Plan which were approved by Aviation Police Bureau and apply to Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) as well as Taitung Airport (TTT).

Registered as the certified IATA Safety Audit for Ground Operation (ISAGO) provider in October. TIAS is the first ground handling company to obtain this honor in Taiwan.

January 16 Launched the first academic-industry cooperation program, providing internship opportunities in aircraft ground handling operations within the Taoyuan International Airport control area for fourth-year students in the Travel Management Department of Hsing Wu College (now Hsing Wu University of Science and Technology).

October 9th. TIAS successfully passed the reexamination of ISAGO inspection.

November 7th. TIAS successfully passed the reexamination of ISAGO inspection.

October 20th. TIAS successfully passed the reexamination of ISAGO inspection.

November 21st. ISAGO applied New Model, TIAS was certified as New Model Provider.

September 16th. TIAS successfully passed the reexamination of ISAGO inspection. (Online audit was used during COVID-19 period)

December 2nd. TIAS successfully passed the ON-SITE Audit reexamination of ISAGO inspection.

December 7 Signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Tourism Management at Jinwen University of Science and Technology, and will progressively offer aircraft ground handling internship positions starting from July 2024.
December 12 Signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Department of Aviation and Transportation Service Management at Vanung University, and will progressively offer aircraft ground handling internship positions starting from July 2024.
